Diocesan Lourdes Pilgrimage: Help needed
Applications from pilgrims requiring assistance to journey with the Diocese Pilgrimage to Lourdes this summer are back to pre-Covid numbers – which is wonderful news, but it does mean we now need lots of helpers, nurses and HCA’s to apply to make sure we have enough people to care for them in Lourdes.
"Being a helper is an act of service that many of us do not get to offer during our day to day lives. Giving our time and care for a week in Lourdes can make such a positive impact on the life and wellbeing of the people we help, and ourselves. There are many ways that you can help someone, the first step is to apply!".
Further information and a link to the application is available on the Lourdes Pilgrimage
(abdiocese.org.uk) website.
The diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes takes place 28 July to 3 August for those travelling by air, or 27 July to 4 August for those travelling by coach or jumbulance. The cost for Helpers and Clinicians is £680 (subsidised) or £850 full price. There are further subsidies which may be available.
