DIVINE MERCY

The Divine Mercy

Before the outbreak of world war 11 In 1931, a simple, uneducated young nun in Poland received a very special gift from Jesus:  "I am sending you with My Mercy to the people of the whole world. I do not want to punish mankind, but I desire to heal it, pressing it to My merciful Heart." Showing His wounds, emphasising the power of those wounds as rays from a font of reconciliation and renewal, rays of love and mercy. This was Divine Mercy, His victory on the Cross,

Apostle of Divine Mercy

The words of Jesus spoken to Sr. Faustina can be found in her writings: The Diary of St. Maria Faustina Kowalska, which outlines her great experience of Divine Mercy within her soul. The diary also reveals her mission given by Christ; to share the Divine Mercy with the world.

Sr. Faustina died in 1938, and was hailed by Pope John Paul 11 as"the great apostle of Divine Mercy in our time."  On April 30th, 2000, St. Faustina was canonized by the pope who said that "the message of Divine Mercy she shared is urgently needed at the dawn of the new millennium."

"You are the secretary of My Mercy. I have chosen for this office in this and the next life."

Join us for Divine Mercy - A beautiful devotion given to us by our Lord Jesus through St Faustina. Thursday's : 8:15pm - St Peter's Shoreham Friday: 10:00am - St Peter's Shoreham St Faustina writes: “I demand from you deeds of mercy, you must not shrink from this or try to excuse or absolve yourself from it. I give you three ways of exercising mercy, the first by deed, the second by word, and the third by prayer, . In these three degrees are contained the fullness of mercy, and it is an unquestionable proof of love for Me. By these means a soul glorifies and pays reverence to My mercy.” (Diary of Saint Faustina 742.)
