Fr. Graham Writes: 9th June 2024
People may think that we are "out of (our) mind" for believing in God, let alone for being a Christian and a Catholic one who goes to Mass. Our first Holy Communion children are making a brave statement as they are publicly stating with an "Amen" that they are receiving the Body and Blood of Christ in Holy Communion. We are not naive, immature or superstitious to believe such things. Our faith is founded in Truth - Jesus Christ, and on the Rock. There is no need to be afraid of what other people think. When even Jesus' relatives thought He was deluded, Jesus referred to those who "do the will of God" as His brother, sister and mother.
Next weekend we are having a visit from Fr Peter Prusakiewicz who will help us deepen in our friendship and knowledge of Jesus in the Divine Mercy and with St Michael, the Archangel. There is so much to the Catholic faith that we might not know about. To do God's will we need all the help, grace and mercy that we can. We do not need to hide from God anymore. He searches for us and seeks to pour His love into our hearts, to heal us with His blood and to protect us with the angels. God is calling us, "Where are you?" Please come next weekend and invite someone too. We are never disappointed with God and He is always searching and waiting for us.
With my prayer for you all in the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts of Jesus and Mary.
God bless you.
Fr Graham
