Fr. Graham Writes 18th September 2022
"Never will I forget a single thing that you have done", says the Lord who accuses those who oppress the poor and go through the motions of religious observance.
Our whole life is known by God. Our thoughts, words, deeds and motives are in His full sight. So, it is right that we pray for one another, including those in authority over us, Kings and Queens; for Christ has died so that all may be saved. Each one of us has some authority or influence over others, even in small ways. Our behaviour and decisions have consequences on family, friends and even communities. To live like Christ is to be an evangelist. God gives us and asks us to be faithful to Him where He has placed us. The reward will far exceed our expectation.
Even those who have governed and had great riches and authority placed on their shoulders will see that it amounts to nothing in the realm and riches of the kingdom of heaven when we are face to face with the authority and beauty of God seen in the face of Jesus. Surrender to Him then now and in every decision small or great.
With my prayer for you all.
God bless you. Fr Graham.
